| Description | Der Hafen Stafnes auf Reykjanes. Es war der beliebteste Fischerhafen im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert und wurde von der königlichen Fischerei bis zu deren Beendigung 1769 benutzt. Die Bauern auf den Königsgütern in Südwestisland waren verpflichtet, von hier auf Fischfang zu gehen. Für den Fischfang war der nahe Handelsplatz Básendar im Süden von Bedeutung. |
