Italiano: "Lo scudo del card. Giorgi fu ideato da lui stesso dopo la nomina a Monsignore. Risulta del tipo a cartella, troncato dalla fascia dorata in due parti uguali rappresentanti il finito in basso e l'infinito in alto, la terra con i due gigli laterali e la dalia (detta anche giorgina), a richiamare quindi il cognome del Porporato) e il cielo con le tre stelle simbolo di eternità. Le figure sono dorate mentre il fondo è azzurro (nello stemma di Villa Vasari a Tregozzano esso è azzurro nella metà inferiore e bianco in quella superiore (NDR: 1° versione); nella cappella del Seminario di Segni e nel ritratto del P.Colocci è invece azzurro in ambedue le metà) (NDR: 2° versione)".
