Summary edit

Description
English: Wallace Monument commemorates the exploits of William Wallace (1270-1305). It is on a volcanic hill, supposedly at the spot where he observed the armies in the Battle of Stirling Bridge. The tower is 220 ft (67 m) high. It has 246 steps, which are narrow and difficult to climb. I did it once, but probably would not try again.
