Description
English:  : A window of Castle Captain house on north facade on the campus of Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science of Széchenyi István University. - The history of the fortress (III. part) After the Mohács Disaster (1526) the widowed Queen Mary was living here for two years. In 1535 th Habsburg dynasty took possesion of the tenure but it was mortgaged frequently. About 1530 the fortress was rebuilt by Gian Maria del Napoli which was told by a description from 1543. In all likelihood map made in 1632 represented this rebuilding. According to it the ground plan of the fortress aggrees with the present one but with one storey only. - Located in Magyaróvár neighborhood, Mosonmagyaróvár, Győr-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary.
