Trianon memorial (other name: Country flag memorial with Turul statue) by Lajos Győrfi - On October 25, 1936, a similar work was erected on the other side of the town hall. It was demolished in 1945 and soldiers of different nationalities who fell in the city were buried in its place, in a common grave. At the top of this common tomb was placed the monument to Soviet heroes, which was removed at the change of regime. Today the monument created jointly by Sándor Györfi and Lajos Győrfi stands in its place, and is one of the most expressive World War II memorials in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. - On the stone next to the national flag we can read a quote from Gyula Illyés: 'Hungarian is the one who hurts Trianon' The bronze Turulbird stands on a sword atop a tall limestone obelisk. The title side of the obelisk shows the Hungarian coat of arms, and the following text can be read on the back: ' Demolished in 1945 / June 4, 2010 / by the community of the city / from public donations / restored ' At the bottom of the pedestal is a mound covered with basalt cubes, on which a map of Greater Hungary unfolds. - Szabadság Square, Kisújszállás, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.

Trianoni-emlékmű /helyi cím:Turulmadaras országzászló/ Győrfi Lajos, Bácsi Lajos (kőfaragó), Varga Imre : karcagi bronzöntő alkotás (Avatás 2010. június 4., Avatás 1936)[1] Egykor, 1936. október 25-én már állítottak egy hasonló művet a városháza másik oldalánál. Azt 1945-ben elbontották, és helyén temették el a városban elesett különféle nemzetiségű katonákat, egy közös sírban. Ennek a közös sírnak a tetején helyezték el a szovjet hősi emlékművet, amelyet a rendszerváltáskor távolítottak el. Helyén áll ma a Györfi Sándor és Győrfi Lajos által közösen alkotott, és a megye egyik legkifejezőbb második világháborús emlékműve. Az országzászló melletti kövön egy Illyés Gyula idézetet olvashatunk: 'Magyar az, /akinek/ fáj Trianon' - A bronz Turulmadár egy magas mészkőobeliszk tetején egy kardon áll.
