Deutsch: Türkenfeld, Schloßweg 1: Katholische Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt, Ansicht von Osten. Die Kirche war zuvor den Hl. Katharina und Sylvester geweiht: der südliche Seitenaltar ist der Sylvesteraltar. Bei einer grassierenden Viehseuche 1807 wurde Sylvester als Schutzpatron der Tiere angerufen; er half, und seither findet in Erfüllung jenes Gelübdes jährlich am 31.12. der Türkenfelder Sylvesterritt statt, bei dem Pferde und Reiter gesegnet werden
