Summary edit

Description Tasman Glacier is New Zealand's longest glacier at 17 miles in length but it is retreating by over 500metres a year. Near the end of the glacier it is covered in rocks (which is why it is dark grey in this photo) but you can see the ice where the glacier meets Lake Tasman. In 1973 there was no Lake just Ice. Global Warming Strikes again.
