Summary

Description
English: Technics RS-M270x - ROHM BA651 dbx NR IC. The BA651+BA652 chipset, built to David Blackmer's specification, was the dbx noise reduction chipset. The BA652 was the core of the Blackmer logarithmic detector, and the BA651 was a bare-bone Blackmer VCA core. The dbx board built around these ICs was huge, with 8 opamps and dozens of transistors. Too expensive for mass market, it was soon replaced with the cheapo AN6291 IC.
