English: Cell fusions in a par-5(it55) loss-of-function embryo expressing lbp-1p :: gfp , a cytoplasmic hypodermis-specific reporter. Time-lapse maximum-intensity projection of the embryo in Fig 6. White arrows indicate bright cells prior to fusion with neighboring cells. Yellow arrows indicates cell fusion event observed by a decrease in reporter expression after fusion. Red arrow denotes a bi-nucleated cell. Scalebar = 10 μm.
