Summary edit

Description

Well this was a little Brucie that we didn't expect! Whilst waiting the forty minutes for the bus to the Arctic Circle Centre we walked down to the waterfront.

It was there that we heard an unmistakable roar of a fast jet and Laura spotted a Hornet. It passed many times, so was probably practicing approaches with touch and goes at the airport.

With NATO membership in place, it's hard to say quite who's plane this is, but the FInnish Air Force is a long time operator of the F/A 18C and so it's a pretty safe bet that it's one of theirs.
