This racy march impressed the publisher of marches E.T. Paull so much that he offered to publish it for a young composer from New York. This was remarkable because at that stage in his publishing career Paull hardly ever accepted works from anyone but himself. And it helped to cement the budding career of Jacob "Jack" Glogau who did go on to be a successful songwriter and composer in his own right. Published by E.T. Paull in New York City in 1910.
