English: Animal-head decoration, "The Vikings Begin" exhibit, Nordic Museum, Seattle, Washington, U.S. One of three pieces described collectively as coming from "Valsgärde boat graves 4 and 7, 7th and 10th centuries", no indication which of the two graves was the source of this particular object. Believed to be a fastener of some sort for a leather strap.
