Notes This painting was discovered at an auction in 2015, where it was listed as "continental school, nineteenth century" (auction catalogue 2015-09-22, no. 216). It was recognized as an early painting by Rembrandt, part of the series of the five senses (Van Tuinen 2016, p. 22-36).
