Summary edit

Description
English: "Karnıyarık" and "pilav" (pilaf of Turkey) make a typical summertime combination in the Turkish cuisine. This "alliance" is completed by a "cacık", generally. (In winter, the alliance is between "kuru fasulye" and pilav, the smaller partner of the coalition or "triple entente" being "turşu".)
