editDescriptionTo urządzenie.JPG |
Polski: to urządzenie English: RIFA PME271M series capacitor - multilayer metallized paper, encapsulated and impregnated in self-extinguishing material. The capacitor, intended for EMI suppression networks in 250V AC circuits, is rated X2 ("across the line" operation), meaning that it can be directly connected to low-impedance 250V AC mains; "ordinary" capacitors cannot tolerate it even if their DC ratings are well above mains voltage). However, there are many reports that these RIFAs fail, and should be replaced with new X2 capacitors when possible. The 40/110/56 marking is rated climate conditions per IEC 60068–1 (-40˚C to +110˚C). Capacitance is not marked on this side; current (2020) capacitance range is 1 nF to 0.6 µF [1]. As of 2020, RIFA capacitors are made and marketed by KEMET, who took over Evox-Rifa operations in 2007. |
