Description

Skansen ved Nidareid – vollene etter det gamle festningsverket – står tydelig frem. Merk landgangsbryggen med tollbod ved vollene hvor skipspassasjerer ble satt i land. I Ila sees Nidareid gård (fra ca. 1850). Nidarø var den gang åker og eng.

Utenfor sjøhusene i Fjordgata og Ravnkloa sees Olsenmoloen (fra 1855), videre Nidelvas utløp med moloer for elvehavna, Lademofjæra og Ladehamrene.

I Erling Skakkes gate sees nr. 66 (Tronka, oppført 1836-42), som var en "pleiestiftelse for sindsvage Mennesker".
