Summary edit
DescriptionTug Goliah 1916.jpg |
Tugboat Goliah. The boat is described as "Twelve Hundred Horse-Power, Large Fuel Capacity, Giving Steaming Radius of Eight Thousand Miles. The best equipped tug on the Pacific Coast for ocean towing. Now open for charter at reasonable rates for towing between Puget Sound and Alaska, and between Pacific and Atlantic Coast ports via the Panama Canal" There was another, earlier a tug of the same name: see Image:Goliah (steam tug).jpg. These vessels can be readily distinguished because the earlier Goliah was driven by sidewheels. |
