Foto Tunnelbanebygget 1930-34, butiksinnehavarna ansåg sig förlora kunder när Götgatan grävdes upp. Staden försökte kompensera dem, bland annat med gratis skyltplatser på flera ställen. En av de klagande yrkade på skadestånd från staden och därmed blev det en fråga för rättsinstansen. Just den här skylten visar också tunnelbanans sträckning, man ser hur spåret efter tunneln fortsätter söderut mot Skarpnäck, Örby och Enskede. Hammarbyleden är kanalen mot Saltsjön, ofta kallad Hammarbykanalen. Tunneln användes för spårväg fram till 1950. Södra Bantorget heter numera Medborgarplatsen. Hållplatsen Ringvägen är i dag tunnelbanestationen Skanstull. |
