Description
Deutsch: Ein männlicher Turmfalke verzehrt eine zuvor geschlagene Amsel; sogar die am Schnabel des Beutetieres haftenden Fleischreste werden gefressen. Der gesamte Vorgang fand in einem Garten ca. 2 m von einem Haus entfernt statt und dauerte vom Erbeuten bis zum Wegfliegen mit dem Rest des Kadavers insgesamt rund eine Stunde, wobei sich das Tier auch durch die Beobachtung sowie ein kurzzeitig geöffnetes Fenster nicht stören ließ. Später verzehrte der Falke die letzten Reste der Beute auf der Fensterbank.
