In that part of article text which addresses that figure (p. 56) it says, that “the packer, which is based on a rubber self-sealing ring, is designed to test blowout preventers and wellhead equipment during underground repair work of wells.” Deutsch: Technische Zeichnung eines Bohrlochkopf-Packers des UHF-Typs (1 – Oberer Teil der Spannvorrichtung; 2 – Stopfbuchsbrille; 3 – Stopfbuchspackung aus „Gummi“, der eigentliche Dichtungsring in Form eines Nutrings; 4 – Auflage für den Dichtungsring; 5 - Unterer Teil der Spannvorrichtung. Angaben in der Bildquelle zufolge wird ein solcher Packer für die Funktionsprüfung von Blowout Preventern und anderen Apparaturen am Bohrlochkopf, d.h. am oberen Ende der Bohrlochkonstruktion einer Öl- oder Gasbohrung eingesetzt. |
