English: 9/21/2009 - USS MESA VERDE, Panama - An Air department landing signal enlisted Sailor guides an Army UH-60 Blackhawk, assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo, as it lifts off the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) during deck landing qualifications Sept. 14. Mesa Verde is underway for Fuerzas Alidas (FA) PANAMAX 2009. FA PANAMAX is an annual U.S. Southern Command joint and multi-national training exercise tailored to the defense of the Panama Canal, involving civil and military forces from around the world.
