Description
English: At sea aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Sep. 16, 2002 -- Aviation Machinist’s Mate Airman Damian White from Queens, N.Y., hangs up “tie down” chains from an F/A 18 “Hornet” assigned to the “Bulls” of Strike Fighter Squadron Three Seven (VFA-37). Truman is participating in a Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX), which is an exercise designed to train the ship, airwing, and other vessels in the battle group to function as one fighting force.
