Description
English: Patuxent River, Md. (Oct. 28, 2002) -- An NC-130H provides an in-flight test bed for a Radar Modernization Program (RMP) under development for the next generation E-2C “Hawkeye” Carrier Airborne Early Warning (VAW) aircraft. Lockheed Martin will produce five radar systems that will be used for qualification, reliability and flight testing, followed by a full-scale production program that will outfit 75 aircraft in the E-2C fleet by 2020.
