English: At sea aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Dec. 5, 2002 -- An Aviation Boatswain’s Mate gives the signal indicating the holdback bar is secured to an EA-6B “Prowler” just prior to launch from one of four steam driven catapults on the ship’s flight deck.
