English: Camp Patriot, Kuwait -- Hull Technician Fireman Ben Roque from San Antonio, Texas, verifies the “water farm’s”purification process by testing a water sample from one of six 3-thousand gallon bladders attached to the water purification unit (ROWPU). A ten-man team of Seabees from Amphibious Construction Battalion One (ACB-1) and ACB-2, works a 12-hour shift every day as part of the crew that runs the reverse-osmosis water purification system. The Seabees process approximately 35,000 gallons of water each day and have more than an additional 50,000 gallons of storage capacity.
