(Apr. 11, 2003) -- U.S. Army Rangers use a special insertion and extraction (SPIE) method to extract troops from two Navy Mark V (MK-V) Special Operations Crafts (SOC) assigned to Special Boat Team Twenty (SBT-20), stationed in Norfolk, Va. SBT-20’s two Mark Five (MK-V) Special Operations Crafts and Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) rehearsed their special operations demonstration for Thunder Over Louisville (TOL), the world’s largest fireworks and pyrotechnics show.
