English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii - (Apr. 22, 2003) -- Yeoman 1st Class Franklin L. Privett gets reacquainted with his son on the pier after the guided missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37) returned home from a six-month deployment from the U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command area of responsibility (AOR). During the deployment, Crommelin's crew detected several vessels transporting narcotics and recovered several tons of cocaine worth an estimated street value of over seventy million dollars. Crommelin also was involved in three rescues at sea, rescuing 174 Ecuadorian citizens from a leaky vessel at sea, and lending assistance to two fishing vessels.
