English: Atlantic Ocean (Aug. 27, 2003) -- Capt. David Taylor, commander, Amphibious Squadron Six, greets Sen. John Warner (R-Va.), Chairman, Armed Services Committee, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Warner visited Sailors and Marines of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) to show his support of the group's peace-keeping efforts to the war-torn country of Liberia. The Iwo Jima (ARG), comprised of the ships USS Iwo Jima, USS Carter Hall (LSD 50), USS Nashville (LPD 13) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC), are completing their sixth month on deployment.
