English: Aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Nov. 1, 2003 -- USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Sailors receive chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) equipment tests as part of the Navy Readiness Improvement Program (NRIP), conducted by employees of Battelle Memorial Institute. Kitty Hawk is underway in the Western Pacific Ocean and is the world's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, homeported in Yokosuka, Japan.
