English: U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md. (Jan. 31, 2004) – U.S. Naval Academy football team co-captain Eddie Carthan addresses the crowd next to the Commander-in-Chief's trophy. The trophy was displayed during half-time of the Army Navy basketball game in Alumni Hall at the U.S. Naval Academy. The 2003 Navy football team, which posted an 8-5 record, won the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy, and played Texas Tech in the EV1.net Houston Bowl. The men’s basketball team lost to the Army Knights 52-50 for the first time at Alumni Hall since 1992.
