English: San Diego Naval Base, Calif. (Apr. 29, 2004) - Family and friends of the crew assigned to USS Boxer (LHD 4) wait to welcome them home after the ship completed a month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). This was Boxer's second deployment in less than a year. Boxer provided amphibious lift of essential personnel and equipment for 1st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAG-3).
