English: Gdynia Naval Base, Gdynia, Poland (June 5, 2004) - U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Thomas J. Kilcline, Jr., center, Polish Navy Vice Adm. Marek Brogoszewski, and Polish Navy Lt. Adam Krysiewicz, answer questions from Polish and Russian media during a recent press conference marking the beginning of Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2004. The exercise is an individual combined maritime and land evolution in the Baltic Sea, conducted in the spirit of PFP. The operation includes NATO and non-NATO participants is designed to promote mutual understanding, confidence, cooperation, and interoperability among forces and personnel of participating nations and support national unit and staff training objectives through a series of robust training exercises.
