English: Sattahip, Thailand (July 5, 2004) - Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Phillippe Donaldson, center, ensures the bomb hoist rigging on a MK 62 “Quick Strike” mine is properly aligned as Aviation Warfare Systems Operator 2nd Class Melissa Kelly, left, and Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Josh Roberts steady the mine while lifting. Aircrews from the “Grey Knights” of Patrol Squadron Four Six (VP-46) deployed MK 62 weapons from the P-3C Orion while participating in a mine exercise during the Thailand phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
