English: Portsmouth, England (July 5, 2004) - Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Amy Sheprow, assigned to the guided missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG 64), helps clear undergrowth from the garden of College Park Infant School during a volunteer Community Relations (COMREL) activity in Portsmouth, England. Gettysburg Sailors enjoyed four-days in Portsmouth. The ship is underway in the Atlantic Ocean as part of the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) carrier strike group (CSG) in support of Summer Pulse '04. Summer Pulse 2004 is the simultaneous deployment of seven carrier strike groups (CSGs), demonstrating the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat across the globe, in five theaters with other U.S., allied, and coalition military forces. Summer Pulse is the Navy's first deployment under its new Fleet Response Plan (FRP). U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Lance H.
