Description
English: Iraqi Air Space (Aug. 14, 2004) - A pair F-14B Tomcats assigned to the "Jolly Rogers" of Fighter Squadron One Zero Three (VF-103) fly in loose formation over Iraq during a combat mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). VF-103 is currently assigned to Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17), embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67). This is the final F-14 Tomcat deployment for VF-103 as they will be transferring to the F/A-18F Super Hornet when they return from deployment. U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Lee O.
