English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Sept. 20, 2004) - A line handler watches as the Safeguard-class rescue and salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52) pulls into Naval Station Pearl Harbor following a deployment to the Western Pacific. The Salvor with a crew of more than 100 officers and Sailors, left Hawaii May 3 to participate in exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2004. CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training exercises with Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and the Philippines.
