Description
English: Djibouti, Africa (Nov. 3, 2004) - Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class James Lester, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Eight (EODMU-8), Detachment Eighteen, holds a line attached to submerged divers while they perform Explosive Ordnance Disposal sweeps in preparation for docking of the U.S. Army ship TSV-1X Spearhead in the Port of Djibouti. Spearhead is delivering supplies in support of Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa is a progressive regional partnership of nations founded on a mutual desire for cooperative security and stability that overcomes and deters the threat of extremists who use terrorism to disrupt our way of live.
