English: Pacific Ocean (Nov. 13, 2004) – A U.S. Navy pilot flies an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the “Marauders” of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Two (VFA-82), over the Pacific Missile Range Facility armed with MK-83 1000 pound general purpose bombs. The Hornets practiced bombing runs on a decommissioned ship. VFA-82 is currently assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2), embarked about the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).
