English: Persian Gulf (Dec. 5, 2004) - An E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Seahawks” of Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Six (VAW-126) prepares to launch from one of four steam-powered catapults aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) embarked aboard Truman is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq. Truman’s Carrier Strike Group Ten (CSG-10) and CVW-3 are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
