English: Persian Gulf (Jan. 14, 2005) - Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Terry Scott listens to questions and concerns posed by the Command Master Chiefs (CMC) embarked aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) while holding a CMC Call in Truman's Chiefs' Mess. Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Vern Clark and MCPON Scott visited Sailors and Marines in Iraq, Bahrain and the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Strike Group in the Persian Gulf Jan. 12-14 to show appreciation for their service during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and the Global War on Terrorism. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) are providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq.
