English: Persian Gulf (April 21, 2005) - Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Terry Scott speaks with a Sailor as he is served breakfast aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). MCPON toured the 5th Fleet Area Of Responsibility April 20-22, addressing questions and concerns from Sailors on the front lines. The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is conducting operations in support of multi-national forces in Iraq and maritime security operations in the Persian Gulf. Carl Vinson will end its deployment with a homeport shift to Norfolk, Va., and will conduct a three-year refuel and complex overhaul.
