English: Persian Gulf (May 21, 2005) – Electronics Technician 3rd Class Damian Gonzales, assigned to Combat Systems Department, CS-8 Division, checks the wiring of a High Frequency Radio Group panel aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Vinson is currently on a scheduled deployment to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Vinson will end its deployment with a homeport shift to Norfolk, Va., and commence a three-year refuel and complex overhaul.
