English: Singapore (June 3, 2005) - Chief Gas Turbine System Technician Mechanical Francis Frederick, left, explains Landing Craft Air Cushion operations to Republic of Singapore Navy Cpt. Rajesh Dhillon during a tour of the craft at Sudong Island. The Republic of Singapore and U.S. are participating in the 11th annual exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2005. CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance interoperability of the respective sea services.
