English: Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (July 6, 2005) – U.S. Marines fire a nineteen-gun salute in honor of the arrival of Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Vern Clark, during the Change of Command for Commander Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor. Adm. Gary Roughead relieved Adm. Walter F. Doran as Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, the Navy’s largest area of responsibility in a ceremony pier side at the Battleship Missouri Memorial on Fords Island. The Pacific Fleet is made up of approximately 200 ships and 1,400 aircraft, and more than 190,000 Sailors, Marines and civilians. U.S. Navy photo by Chief Photographer's Mate Donald Bray (RELEASED)
