English: New Orleans (Sept. 10, 2005) - Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Mullen and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Terry Scott land on board Naval Support Activity, New Orleans in two MH-60S Seahawk helicopters. The CNO and MCPON are traveling the gulf coast to get a personal assessment of damages caused by the hurricane and to thank the Sailors on ships and at naval facilities in Louisiana and Mississippi. The Navy's involvement in the humanitarian assistance operations is being led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
