English: New Orleans (Sept. 11, 2005) – U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit Two (MDSU-2), Detachment Two, pull divers from the water after completing dive operations from a Mechanized Landing Craft (LCM) in the well deck of the dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46). Tortuga is currently moored at Naval Support Activity New Orleans in support of Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations. The Navy's involvement in the humanitarian assistance operations are being led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
