Description
English: Mediterranean Sea (Sept. 25, 2005) - Two F/A-18C Hornets, assigned to the "Golden Warriors" of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven (VFA-87), and an F-14D Tomcat, assigned to the "Blacklions" of Fighter Squadron Two One Three (VF-213), fly in a loose formation with their tailhooks down during a late evening mission over the Mediterranean Sea. VFA-87 and VF-213 are assigned to Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8), currently embarked aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). U.S. Navy photo by Lt.j.g.
