English: Pointe Noire, Congo (March 24, 2006) - Members of the Congolese Military gather around as Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Darnell Sales, assigned aboard the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39), demonstrates the proper procedures for applying a tourniquet during a damage control training exercise. Land is currently conducting training exercises and community relation's projects (COMREL) with host nationals while on deployment to the Gulf of Guinea.
