English: Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo (March 24, 2006) – Commander Task Force Six Five (CTF-65), Capt. Thomas Rowden shows off a family photo to guests, from left, Harbor Deputy, Nguimbi-Moulangou, Port Director, Atso-Amota, Port Commander and Maritime Operations Director, Anatole Bagniakana. Capt. Rowden is providing hydrographic survey charts produced by the Stennis Space Center, Miss., Fleet Survey Team. The team is currently attached to the submarine-tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) supporting their 2006 Gulf of Guinea cruise. The group's mission is to establish and build relations with the various countries of West Africa by sharing resources and data with local hydrographers and learning from them, as well, for future endeavors. Their goal is to provide on-the-job familiarization in the science of hydrography to host nation personnel in the Gulf of Guinea region.
