English: Atsugi, Japan (April 19, 2006) – Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Marcus Sintoni demonstrates a rolling dismount at Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi Security Department's Bike Patrol Training Academy. The weeklong program, held in Atsugi's Ranger Park, taught the future bike patrollers basic safety procedures and various advanced techniques, such as high-speed dismounting and off-terrain pursuit. The bicycle program offers the patrolman greater mobility than a motorized vehicle, and provides friendlier interaction opportunities with local community members.
